As a result of the Coronavirus, we have changed the way the shop operates, to keep you, our customers, as safe as we can and also to maintain a distance between you and us, as we serve you. While access to the inside of the shop is restricted, we have erected a marquee in front of the shop, to display bakery products and fresh fruit and veg.

For the time being, we will be serving you from a counter at the door, with a perspex screen, as a barrier between you and us. All our other products, including newspapers, dairy products, delicatessen, and household goods are available at the shop entrance. We hope that this restriction will be short-lived, but we need to protect each other.

With this restriction on access to the shop, we can only serve one customer at a time, so you may have to wait. Conversation is always lively among those who are gathered on the green.
